Biography

Bio
Alejo Pacheco, currently conquering the hallowed halls of the University of Michigan as a Mechanical Engineering senior, is the embodiment of ambition wrapped in a charming smile. With a dual minor in Electrical Engineering and Physics, he’s practically a walking science fair project—minus the poster board but plus three years of hands-on experience in manufacturing. His proficiency in SOLIDWORKS and MATLAB has allowed him to 3D print tools that not only save thousands but also earn him unofficial superhero status among his peers.

As a Production Intern at FORVIA, Alejo expertly juggles design layouts and process improvements like they"re hot potatoes. He has single-handedly led initiatives that reduced scrap by an impressive 30%, showing that he doesn’t just think outside the box—he builds better boxes! His previous roles include creating hundreds of operating procedures and collecting failure testing data at Regal Rexnord, proving that even when faced with challenges, Alejo turns pressure into productivity.

When he’s not busy streamlining assembly lines or charming professors with his keen insights on physics, you might find him mentoring fellow engineering students at UM"s machine shop—a place where he dispenses wisdom faster than most can operate a lathe. As an MRacing team member, he"s also revving up his leadership skills while showcasing that engineering brains really do race ahead! In short, Alejo is not just another student; he"s a mechanical marvel destined for greatness—if only he"d stop being so modest about it!
