Meet Angie Pacheco, the remarkable force of nature thriving in the Salt Lake City Metropolitan Area! Currently dazzling the City of Logan with her unparalleled work ethic and infectious enthusiasm, Angie is not just an employee; she’s a community superhero. With a knack for turning ideas into reality, she previously took on various roles that showcased her dedication to both environmental initiatives and youth education.
Angie’s stint as an AmeriCorps VISTA Summer Associate was nothing short of legendary. Leading outdoor science camps at Stokes Nature Center, she inspired over 150 children aged 4-15 with hands-on activities that turned learning into an adventure. Not only did she craft engaging curricula, but she also forged partnerships with local businesses—a true master networker!
Her earlier role as a Nature Center Host further solidified her status as a guardian of the environment. Informing visitors about programs and events while keeping displays stocked may sound mundane, but Angie made it sparkle with her charm and charisma. She even snagged funding for composting campaigns during her time at Utah State University—proving that eco-friendly practices can indeed be thrilling!
