Biography

Bio
Ashley Pacheco, a beacon of hope and inspiration in the Bronx, is not just your average Special Education Teacher at the NYC Department of Education; she’s a superhero in disguise! With over seven years of experience, Ashley transforms her classroom into a sanctuary for students facing significant challenges. Armed with a Master’s degree in Special Education from Pace University, she expertly navigates the complexities of learning disabilities and autism spectrum disorders with the grace of a seasoned pro.

Before dazzling her current students with her pedagogical prowess, Ashley took her talents overseas to Shanghai, where she taught English to pint-sized scholars at Happy Bridge Kindergarten. It was there that she refined her skills in storytelling — crucial when engaging young minds! Back on home turf, she has also been pivotal as an Americorps Member and community associate, championing initiatives that uplift young women through education and leadership.

Her volunteer work further showcases her commitment to making a difference; coordinating events for families while providing direct tutoring ensures no student is left behind on Ashley"s watch. When not inspiring future leaders or fine-tuning individualized lesson plans, you might find Ashley perfecting whimsical crafts or exploring New York"s vibrant art scene.

With CPR certification to boot and accolades too numerous to mention (but we’ll just say they’re impressive), Ashley Pacheco is truly an educational gem whose laughter rings louder than any school bell—proof that teaching isn’t just about imparting knowledge but nurturing souls!
