Evelyn Pacheco is the dazzling Vice Chair of the NYC Faith-Based Coalition Against Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence, where her enthusiasm for social justice shines as brightly as her New York City skyline backdrop. With a heart warmer than a sunny summer day in Central Park, she also serves as the Director of Spiritual Care at the Latino Pastoral Action Center (LPAC), where she transforms lives one prayer at a time.
A proud daughter of East Harlem, Evelyn"s journey began with a Bachelor"s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Touro College, where she was not only on the Dean"s List but also received awards for her community involvement—because what’s more impressive than being brilliant and kind? Her tenure as Supporting Pastor at My Father"s House International Church has been marked by an unwavering commitment to uplifting those around her.
In 2016, she founded A Woman’s Silent Cry/Prayer Ministry—a sanctuary for women seeking purpose and empowerment. Evelyn believes that every woman should discover her divine calling; after all, who doesn’t love a personal renaissance?
With over 11 years at LPAC under her belt, Evelyn has become synonymous with compassion and activism.
